Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. After the divorce of her parents her parents separated, she moved to Worthington, Ohio to live at Los Angeles. She was struggling to get by and was offered her first role in acting in the film Rachel's Room's leading character. The actress was able to secure a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of the 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford's character she played in Lost between 2004 and 2005, was selected for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace wanted to focus on film following her role as Tom Welling's character, The Fog, in 2005.
