Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. The music she grew up with was traditional Boleros from the past as well as the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana is passionate about the operas and tangos as well as the dramatic shows that she attends. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her, she started more serious training in vocals at age 16 under the guidance of renown Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. While a student, and being a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups and choruses. Following her move into America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer with classical Latin American music at private performances. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to various community-based projects due to her enthusiasm and love for music. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
