Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. He started his acting career by playing the roles in TV shows, such as in Opposite Sex in the year 2000. Evans gained fame because of his performance as the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans also appeared in films based on comics and graphic novels: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). Alongside his character as Steve Rogers/Captain America Evans was recognized for his work in his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War. He was one of the highest paid actors in the world thanks to his involvement in the Marvel franchise.
